3 Types of Chemicals Used in Wood Treatment for Termite Control

2. Borate

3. Bifenthrin

This is a pyrethroid pesticide. There are currently three strengths of bifenthrin used for the pre-treatment of wood, with different timelines for their efficiency. A 0.1% bifenthrin concentration will protect your wood for more than 10 years, 0.05% for 10 years, and 0.25% for three years.
